A DBT Skills Training Group is a great way to learn how to enhance your life. The DBT Skills Group is not group therapy. It is a group that's main purpose is to teach and practice skills many individuals are not taught such as Distress Tolerance, Mindfulness, Emotional Regulation and Interpersonal Effectiveness. Skills Training can be used in conjunction with individual therapy, if desired. Some individuals may require individual therapy in addition to the Skills Training.
